A question which was asked a few days ago internally led me to have (yet) another look at browser search, or as it is sometimes known, search.asp.

You can access it using :-

http://name-of-your-ev-server/enterprisevault/search.asp

You can get to it from the normal integrated search too.

So the question is can you search of items archived on a particular day?  The answer is yes..  You have to launch your search.asp though with the ?advanced=3 option, to get all the additional fields displayed, as shown below :

You can then put adat in to the field labelled "Other Date", and put your date in the next field (or a date range).

To check you are getting the right results back, it might be worth adding adat in to the field labelled "Other results".

Add in any other search criteria you might need, and then click Search.  Hey presto you're done.
